“What about little microphones? What if everyone swallowed them, and they played the sounds of our hearts through little speakers, which could be in the pouches of our overalls? When you skateboarded down the street at night you could hear everyone’s heartbeat, and they could hear yours, sort of like sonar. One weird thing is, I wonder if everyone’s hearts would start to beat at the same time, like how women who live together have their menstrual periods at the same time, which I know about, but don’t really want to know about. That would be so weird, except that the place in the hospital where babies are born would sound like a crystal chandelier in a houseboat, because the babies wouldn’t have had time to match up their heartbeats yet. And at the finish line at the end of the New York City Marathon it would sound like war.” —Jonathon Safran Foer

My Childhood → youtube.com

There’s a new Winnie the Pooh movie and I am so excited.

As if that wasn’t good enough… IT COMES OUT ON THE SAME DAY AS HARRY POTTER!!!

The sun beams down

Casting Shadows on the green

The breeze wisps ‘round

Is everything as perfect as it seems?

A song to sing

Shared by friends and passers-by

Sun sparkling

A twinkling sight catches my eye

I went to type "It's finally the end of school", but instead found myself writing "It's the end of the world"... That's rather odd.

Anyhow, in order to keep up with posts I have decided to create a schedule:

Monday- A finding from the internet

Tuesday- A poem or song or original thought

Wednesday- A photo

Thursday- A quote

Friday- A list of happy things from my week

Memories

So I haven’t blogged in forever, but today as I clicked through links on one of my favourite blogs, I found this:

I clicked and as I scrolled through the pictures, I gasped upon realizing that I grew up going to this pier with my Aunt and Uncle and the rest of my family on our yearly trips to the Outer Banks! Just a sweet little surprise in my day!
