Today just sucks.
There are a million reasons and yet all I feel is the total and utter suckery and shitiness.
But, y’know, it happens.
Thoughts...
1. I hate it when people fill their tumblrs with non-descript photos with “thoughtful” or “meaningful” quotes reblogged for the 8-billionth time
2. If you really care about someone, you don’t write it to them in a way the whole world will see. You don’t need to make a show of everything. Mmkay?

I went thrifting yesterday with my dears Anela and Emma… in QUEENS!
It was amazing! I got an awesome pair of boots for $20!!! WIN

Finally
I have had an awful week. I don’t even know if I can say why, but I’ve felt really sad. Whenever I have a bad week, Friday is just all that more welcome. I don’t expect anything good, so all the little things are just that much better. So, today was better. It felt so much better, but even so, the fact that the week is over is such a relief.

I need a happy something, and some days the perfect tumblr post and a perfectly executed craft just don’t cut it. That’s today

This is the blog I’ve been following the longest aside from Cupcakes and Cashmere. This is less crafting, more baking (the title gives that away, though). Also, the blogger went to Harry Potter World and wrote a great post about and. She also made a fabulously classy Harry Potter-themed birthday cake.

The name itself is reason enough to visit this website/blog! Emily is lovely and has nice patterns in her posting (e.g. every Friday she posts five things making her happy that day). My absolute favorite part of this one is the photographs!
